About us

The Gambia is the smallest nation in Africa and also one of the poorest.

We know that better access to education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods can make a real difference to people's lives in The Gambia, enabling them to make a better future for themselves and their families. We provide funds to trusted partners in The Gambia who oversee the delivery of projects, making sure that aims are achieved and that money is spent well and fully accounted for.

We work in partnership with local organisations in The Gambia, so we know that our work is led by the needs, knowledge and experience of Gambians, not by what we think is best.

As a registered charity we rely on donations from you to support the work of our Gambian partners. 98% of money raised is sent directly to the projects we are jointly working on.
